POSITION: Database Administrator

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Install, config, debug and maintain company’s database network and servers.
• Work closely with management and project developer to understand the company’s business needs, operations of the projects and requirements from the clients, analyze the information collected to determine or modify the company’s existing database.
• Perform regular database maintenance to ensure data security, complete routine data updating or releasing.
• Deliver technical data-related solutions to meet company’s business needs
• Document the analysis and maintain the documentation repository
• Collaborate with the marketing department to design and develop new database for new tasks and projects
• Work with QA team to test the new solutions to ensure that the data quality meets company’s expectations and, perform internal data validation testing.

REQUIREMENTS: The candidate must have at least a master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and at least 24 months’ experience as database administrator, data analyst or a related occupation working on data modeling and schema design under Linux and Windows, and on at least one of the big data platforms (Hadoop, GCP, AWS, BigQuery, or Azure)

Employer also requires that the candidate must have combined knowledge of data architecture, infrastructure, network, front-end, and back-end of the system or platform, SQL, BigData, Hadoop, Java, and at least one language (among Python, R, Matlab, or SPSS) applied to statistics, data analysis, and machine learning
